Victoria

Tucked on the northern continent of Mnemosyne, the small country of Dunrowe sits, a port nation that sits as the only English speaking nation on the planet Kepler.

Rainmerrow District

The downtown district. It sits upon the northern shore of Victoria, with various waterside walkways, catwalks, bridges, and pavilions adorning the mostly-rocky beach. Skyscrapers surround the Foxwell Tower, the first radio tower in the continent of Mnemosyne, erected in 2870.

Sherborne District

An inland district of European style architecture. Apartment buildings trimmed with marble and lavish neo-classical houses connect through archways and adorning catwalks. Overlooking the district, on a hill, is the Parliament Building.

Walpole District

A populous district of winding roads, packed and often completely-attached blocks of buildings, and cheap apartments. Many of its unleveled, cobblestone streets ascend Victoria's hilly inland, many quite steep. Most middle-class Dunrowers live in this district.

Blackhaven District

A few paths in the old city lead to narrow streets and walkways located under the city's surface. These claustrophobic areas are lined with market booths and snug apartments, and is seen as the black market, redlight district of the city. It is bathed in an amber glow, and is the only district not effected by the curfew.

Milbrook District

Also known as the garden district, the Milbrook River cuts from the ocean across this deeply-inland section of the city. Townhouses border the river as well as lavish parks and gardens. Cafes and gazebos dapple the pathed shore.

Kilead District

On the far, north side of the city, at the edge of its shoreline, a huge housing project sits. This project is a place where the government build hundreds upon hundreds of small, low-income housing units. With a grant of land too tiny to build a sprawl of ghetto, they are stacked to form a massive cube structure, a megaplex of dilapidation and grime. If you don't live here or aren't from here, there is no reason to come. At least, until a checkpoint was established there.

Southwark District

The least populous of the districts, a scatterplot of houses around coal and ore mines mostly unusued since the turn of the millennia. Most of the community's ancestors worked in the mines, and most of the community haven't been outside of the city in their lives.

Hartmoor District

In the outermost reaches of the city, in the farthest areas in which the metro will run, the city begins to wind into hilly, rural settlements. These settlements hang over the rest of the city in the highest moors, and begin the long stretch of emerald hills that surround the city.
